My career as an interior designer began unofficially at the age of 21 when my husband and I bought, knocked down and re-built our first home on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Another three re-builds and three children followed, all whilst selling real estate as well as working alongside my husband in his building company, Barnabas Building.
It has always been a dream to work for myself and have flexibility and balance around my family and career, so I knew it was only a matter of time before I took the plunge and made the official career change! When I did, I never looked back!
I pride myself on building and maintaining relationships. My dedication to my craft starts from getting to know my clients, their needs and understanding their brief from initial concept design through to design detailing, planning and project coordination with the aim to provide beautifully designed, practical and functional spaces.
The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing the transformation of a space and seeing how it improves the quality of life of those who live, work and play in it.
